What is an event?
iOffer Events allows users to communicate and negotiate sales and swaps live and interactively online with a start and end period.
Who can host an event?
Any user can host and participate in an event, as long as they abide by iOffer's guidelines and policies.
How do I buy, sell, and swap in an event?
Buying, selling, and swapping works the same way in an iOffer Event as in any other transactions on iOffer.
Recommendation: List as many of your selling items as you can because they are all shown during the event.
Why is the event duration within a beginning and end time frame?
The purpose of an event is to encourage communication amongst users, allowing users to freely list and find items related to the event description. Setting a beginning and end time frame in an event helps engage users to interact with each other within its duration.
How do I host an event?
To host your own event, simply click on the 'Community' tab on the top, roll your mouse cursor over the 'Upcoming Events' heading, and a link to 'Create a New Event' will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your event.

How do I list my items during an event?
When you attend an event, the items in your current inventory are automatically listed in the "Event Items" display. You do not need to relist any items, so spend more time browsing other sellers' items and interacting with the event attendees.
Why can't I see my items during an event?
During an event, you can not see your own items. However, your entire current inventory is viewable to all other attendees in the "Event Items" display.
Will my items go away once I leave an event?
iOffer events give you in-and-out privileges. When you leave an event, your items will remain viewable to all event attendees in the "Event Items" display. You do not need to be present at all times for your items to show up.
